2010-2011 Residential Building Permit Data

This is a summary of Single-Family and Multi-Family building permits issued last year and this year, through the most current month available, in counties in the Northern California regions.

This data was extracted from a report for all the counties in California by the Construction Industry Research Board, and gives a good idea of what new home business is getting ready to be built. Of course, some permits may be pulled early due to proposed fee increases or allotment limits to be imposed by various public agencies. However, most builders will start building within 1 to 3 months of receiving the permits.
