Probable Maximum Loss Report
The Probable Maximum Loss (PML) Report, also known as the seismic-damageability report, is prepared in accordance with the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards, ASTM E 2026-2007 "Standard Guide for Seismic Risk Assessment of Buildings," and ASTM E 2557 "Standard Practice for Probable Maximum Loss Evaluations for Earthquake Due-Diligence Assessments." It is designed to measure a building's financial risk in the event of an earthquake.
