Crystal Cook currently serves as Vice President and Division Area Manager of First American Title National Commercial Services in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, Crystal oversees operations and is responsible for strategic business growth. |
Prior to joining First American in May 2015, Crystal spent the first 15 years of her legal career at large and mid-size regional firms, including Powell Goldstein, LLP (now Bryan Cave, LLP), Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddell, LLP, Epstein Becker & Green, PC, and most recently, Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Previous to practicing law, Crystal worked as a certified public accountant specializing in taxation at two of the Big Four accounting firms – Deloitte & Touche, LLP and KPMG, LLP.

Crystal is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been practicing law primarily in the area of commercial real estate since 2000. Throughout her legal career, Crystal has worked on a full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions across the nation, from due diligence in connection with acquisitions, to financing, development and disposition. Crystal also has extensive experience with a wide variety of asset types, including office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, municipal, industrial, medical and timberland. And her professional training and experience in accounting and law has given her a deeper understanding of certain financial implications, which she brings to bear on a myriad of transactions. Crystal is a proud alumna of the University of Connecticut and Duke University School of Law. |
