A knowledgeable and customer-focused professional with over 30 years of legal and title industry experience, you can count on her to provide the highest level of personalized customer service that ensures peace of mind for home buyers, sellers, and the professionals that serve them.

Mickie began her career in 1991 as a real estate and oil and gas attorney and then worked almost exclusively in the oil and gas industry for 13 years examining title. She transitioned back into real estate as a commercial title examiner for First American in April 2020. Mickie's unique perspective of the title industry assists her in providing support to agents and guidance on underwriting issues to facilitate successful closings of real estate transactions. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service, Mickie values the importance of being available and responsive to agents' needs. Her years of industry experience increase the collective knowledge and problem-solving ability of the Texas Underwriting team.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Mickie received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech Law School. She is a member of the Texas Land Title Association. In addition, Mickie is highly active in the local East Texas Shriner's organization, supporting fundraising to assist all Shriner's Children's Hospitals located in Texas and Louisiana.
