Stacey is a knowledgeable title professional with 22 years of experience and has been a member of the First American family since 2013. Her background includes serving as senior underwriter for residential and commercial transactions in Michigan, claims counsel and division counsel for a national underwriter, lead title attorney for a private law firm, and legal counsel and commercial title examiner for a regional title company.
Stacey graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and received a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is a member of the Michigan Land Title Association, Indiana Land Title Association, State Bar of Michigan, and is an active member of the Land Title Standards Committee, a standing committee within the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
She enjoys fundraising for charities by running in 5K and 10K races. In addition, Stacey has participated in First American’s Caring Eagle relay events, including the Michigan Ragnar Relay for Michigan Medicine’s Breast Cancer Research, Flying Like an Eagle Coast to Coast Virtual Relay for Feeding America, and Pink Power Relay Virtual Relay, an American Cancer Society breast cancer event.
